Photo of a mole emerging from the ground

Moles tunnel using their large two front paws to scrape away the earth and feel along tunnels with their snouts and whiskers.

Because of the absence of light within their living conditions, moles have very poor eyesight so very rarely will you see mole activity above ground.

Problems Caused by Moles

Moles can cause great damage and instability to soil in rural areas, thus posing a hazard to livestock.

They can also cause great damage to residential gardens and also to sporting areas like football pitches.

Treatment of Moles

We use a integrated pest management system in dealing with pests.

We use Trapping and Gassing.
