Urban birds such as Gulls, Pigeons, Starlings and Sparrows are great opportunists.

Handed a ready food source and sheltered nesting site (such as roof or under bridges), these birds can grow rapidly becoming a thriving colony.

Why Control Birds?

Birds carry a variety of diseases such as Ornithosis, Listeria and E-coli that can be transmitted to man not only from the droppings but also the birds themselves.

When dry, pigeon droppings can become airborne in small particles, which can lead to respiratory complaints such as psittacosis.

Treatment of Birds

We use a integrated pest management system in dealing with pests and use the following methods with bird control/proofing.

  • Bird Netting
  • Bird spikes
  • Shooting
  • Guano Cleaning

We also offer drone surveys to locate and identify problems in hard to reach areas such as roofs, chimmleys and gutters.

This allows us to identify problems and prepare the nessesary equipment and tools to deal with it.
